Originally Scheduled
for February 15, 2003 the WELLS FARGO RED BALL EXPRESS
was rescheduled due to weather and relocated to Durango Mountain Resort
(DMR). This was a cooperative effort of all three Rotary Clubs in
Durango and allowed local non profit organizations to sell ticket
"adoptions," as a way to raise funds for their
organizations. At exactly 2:03 PM, 102 adopted balls were released
down Columbine Hill at DMR. This event raised over $37,500.00
for the Community and provided a great time for everyone. Click
