Ward announced is son was selected to be an Exchange student
and will be going to Brazil. Ward said all were sent an email regarding how to sell Red Ball
tickets. Steve Govreau recognized those individuals who
helped distribute dictionaries at local schools. He also passed around
thank you notes from the school children. Burt Coleman

in handling the “explosive” children. Sherry

College campus.
Sgt. of Arms
Chandler Jackson went right into the Happy Dollars: Bob Chaput –bought a new bike in preparation
for the Iron Horse and paid more than he paid for a new 1962 Chevy Impala (in
1962)! Mike Burns tossed in $20 in celebration of
his new son who was born early on December 3. Today was the actual due
date. Bill Cartwright thanked John Anderson for helping Joseph ski and Justin Osborn
who taught him powder skiing yesterday (Joseph missed today’s meeting – he’s
hitting the slopes). Tom Brosia tossed in $64 for his birthday and is happy to be back after quite a
high-end hunting trip in Nebraska.
Chandler skipped birthdays because no one
was present, but read a long list of those with Club anniversaries (when the
club didn’t know a club member’s date, they were listed as January 1).
They include: Charlie Albert, Bob Chaput, Bud Deering, David
Farmer, Robert Foster, Robert Griffith, Bill Hermesman,
Greg Lyman, Brian Myers, Richard O’Block, Steve
Osborne, Richard Pearson, Steve Wheeldon and Rick Thomas White. Rick O’Block turned in Laryn Kasten as she was quoted on a national
level on the Weather Channel, CNN, USA Today and others.
David Downs won the drawing and made a basket on the first try
– “nothing but net.”
Program
Rick Routh introduced Rotarian Emily Spencer and her fellow women’s barber-shoppers (members of The
Women’s Prerogative Chorus directed by Kriss Larsen).
Closing
With the program shorter
in length, Ward called Bud up for some jokes. Bud offered two. Ward then rang the bell
to dismiss us.
Reminder:
There is a meeting next Thursday, December 28th.
Happy Holidays!

Respectfully Submitted,
