Tristin opened the meeting by ringing the bell…..

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Several Rotarians hosted visiting Rotarians from Tasmania
• Chip Lyle gave us an update on traveling Rotary Exchange Students. They will be housed at the Doubletree, take a raft trip and visit Mesa Verde
• DayBreak Rotary will Charter the newest Rotary club in Bayfield / Ignacio on 6/25.
• The evening club will do a pancake breakfast on July 4 in Rotary Park… 7:30 am until??? The price is $7.00 for adults.

We had no sgt at arms today due to the importance and length of the program

GOLF TOURNAMENT – JULY 15 at Dalton Ranch……. ALL ROTARIANS WILL HAVE LUNCH THERE INSTEAD OF OUR THURSDAY MEETING FOR THAT WEEK.

We saw a locally produced video on methamphetamine use in Durango. It was startling to see how the drug completely takes over the user’s life. Several young people testified as to how their lives were ruined due to their use of this nasty drug. The video is available for purchase - for your copy – a MUST SEE for anyone - contact:
