If it is like all of her other parties this will be one NOT to miss. Food
and wine tasting will be offered. Also, don’t forget to bring a wrapped
gift for Project Merry Christmas.
Operation ornament needs 6-8 volunteers still. You are encouraged to
bring in an ornament to our next meeting.
We were just 11 wheelchairs shy of our goal, but by the end of our meeting had

Our program was Chuck Owens’ entrepreneurial class from the Durango
High. The top three students presented their business ideas to our
group. Freshman, Cory Finney, presented “Custom Fitness and Training”.
Jessalyn Yagunich’s business was “Gym Monkey” (a place for gymnasts to
hang around”. And the #1 choice was Brooke Pevny, “A home away from
home” a safe haven for children in need, was her business idea. All
three did a fabulous and well planned out presentation. The two runner
ups received a check for $75 and Brooke received a check for $150, presented by
Jill Wark.
Our thanks to all who have given time and energy to these young adults and
their quest for a brighter future.
As always, a wonderful meeting. Always good to see everyone…
