ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Durango Motor Expo is rolling along. There will be Music, silent auction, food fun and fellowship 5/28 Poker run 5/29.
United Way / High Noon Rotary 10^th annual golf tournament is 7/15 FRIDAY. That week we will move our regular meeting to Dalton for the golf tourney.. so no regular meeting, meet at the golf tournament at Dalton .
Puma parade to benefit San Juan Mountain Association was last night.. I hope you all enjoyed the function.

SGT AT ARMS:

Mark Prouty extracted $$ from Mark Larsen for being there…… we were glad to see you!!

Tim W and David D were hit up for bucks… as were all Rotarians that didn’t read the Rotoplast article or go see Willie Nelson.

Wayne Bedor paid a happy $5 for finishing the Bay to Breakers race in the top 5,000. way to go Wayne!!!

Susan Sanders is having a trunk show (great fun clothes) at her business on Saturday from 2-5:30 with wine and fun things to eat .

Ted R paid for a new grandchild as did Jill for her potty trained grand son.

John Anderson was grateful a friend came through surgery and paid for the joy.

Bud Poe’s grandkids have hit the big time at Destination Imagination and he is traveling to their home to cheer them on.

Tammy’s husband got teacher of the year for the 4^th year in a row… can we clone him?

No one won the raffle….. the pot grows.

We had a great pep talk about Paul Harris Fellowships - Jan and Jeff passed out 4 with the help of PE Steve G.

The RI president for 2007 has chosen water / education and literacy / women’s issues as his themes for that year.

David Downs / Bill Hermesman / Jim Jennings / Manuel Pozo-Alonso are our newest Paul Harris Fellows.

Did you know Bob Chaput is a 5 time Fellow….. that earned him 5 sapphires in his Paul Harris pin.

PROGRAM:

We all enjoyed the wonderful music and voices of Manuel and his wife and daughter.
