flute.

Tri-District Conference.
Sgt of Arms: Patty Burkholder admirably filled in for
missing employee Karen
L’Argent. We found out that Patty is celebrating her 34th
anniversary AND
her birthday next week. Tami is
celebrating her 5th. Walt seemed pretty
happy to be going on a vacation. Steve
Wheeldon donated a 7th Wheelchair in
honor of his contract renewal with
Jeannie. Some of the fines helped with
Rotaract’s holiday card fundraiser and
with the Ornament Project.
Program: Presented by Kip Koso and Ana Velasquez. They are
advocating for
the establishment of La Plata
County Boys and Girls Clubs in
Ignacio, and Bayfield. These clubs
provide after school and weekend programs
that inspire and enable youth. In
club in the old Amory building
adjacent to the recreation center so as to
use existing facilities in their
programs. Estimated costs are $125-175,000
per year per club with funding
coming from National Boys and Girl Club
monies, grants, organizational
donactions (Civic groups,
and fundraising efforts from the
club itself. Currently they are requesting
a letter of support from our club.
