On this
beautiful fall day we had a lovely invocation by Bud Deering.
Guests
included a Rotarian from the
Thanks to
Jeff Brown HIGH
at the 9 mile table for the
marathon. We'll use the sign in the future too, as its really
sturdy and coated to last for years........ thanks Jeff!!!
The
marathon will be manned in part by our INTERACT club. Sue Compton - our
newest member
is heading up the volunteers from HNR and INTERACT.

Redding announced a cancer survival talk tonight and there were "save your
life" cards
on each
table for the men to keep track of their PSA count.
District
conferrnce is this weekend in SNOWMASS. President Mike and several
others
will
represent HNR.
Ralph
Martin announced the SUNSHINE AUCTION AND DINNER to be held on
Sky
Ute Casino. All proceeds will
benefit kids who are terminally ill. Please see RALPH
or call
him if you can help or want dinner tickets.. seated is
limited for this great event.

Ganevsky announced another 2 wheelchairs - the count now is 226. We only
need 280 to
make a
full container.
We will be needing host families for Mexican Rotarians coming to
visit us for the TRI DISTRICT
conference
at the end of the month... more on this next week.
The SGT AT
ARMS gave us all a break today (despite the fact there 2 - yes 2 all male
tables!!)
Bob Volger
graciously donated all the fine money ( his $100
check) to the mentoring program.
President
Mike put some happy dollars in the pot for a great breast cancer awareness talk
that had
occurred the night before.
Neither John B or Bob G pulled the correct card out of the deck........ is there REALLY a
correct
card??????? only time will tell........ the pot grows bigger by the week.

the OTHER
Mike and Carol McGuire..... thankfully not our
esteemed president and first lady.
We had a
great inspirational speaker that got us off our duffs and moving and shakin
around the
room..........
