ROTARY MEETING   9/23/04

Dan Morgenstern gave a stirring and beautiful invocation.  His words AND music were beautiful.  Thank you Dan.!!!

Our special honoree today was honorable president Mike's guest "HARRY".  He is 89 years YOUNG, a 59 year

member of the oddfellows, long time mounted ranger, member of the Hwy 203 grange, and truly an example of

someone who gives the community "service above self".   He operates heavy equipment out at the glider port

in his "spare time" and started work as a rancher driving a team of horses to plow a field at 25 cents a day many

decades ago.   A true local hero and great volunteer.
